                              . o O  General  O o .
                             -----------------------

 * We are NOT currently looking for any IRCops

 * Client ports are 6667 for non SSL, & 6697 for SSL

 * Your IP and/or hostname will be cloaked by default.

   This is for the protection of the network and its clients.

   If you wish to disable it, you can type:

     /mode  -x

     into your IRC client.

 * There's a connection limit of 10 per IPv4, or /64 of IPv6

   If you need a higher limit, please contact opers@z.je
   stating the IP and the reason. Sensible/reasonable requests
   will be considered.

                              . o O  Help  O o .
                             --------------------

 * #help is the general network help channel

 * #a&a is for Andrews & Arnold customers

 * #linitx is for LinITX customers

 * Those are the main ones. There are others; try /msg alis list

 * More information can be found at http://www.irc.z.je

                        . o O  Nick Registration  O o .
                       ---------------------------------

 * If you're a regular user of the network, please register your nick.

 * If you don't then login each time you connect, eventually,
   your registration will expire.

 * There's little point registering your nick if you're not going to protect
   it by identifying as it when you connect.

 * It's mostly trivial to configure your client to login when you connect.

   In most clients you can set the server password or the nickserv password
   if they offer those options.

   The network supports SASL, if your client does. The cap_sasl.pl script
   for irssi, for example, has been tested as working, as has the
   colloquy client on an iPad.

                              . o O  RULES  O o .
                             ---------------------

 * We may scan your IP for open proxy and check to see if it is listed in
   various RBLs when you connect.

   This is done to protect the network.

   It is not optional.

   If you don't like or agree to this, then disconnect now.

 * No spamming.

 * No flooding.

 * No abuse.

 * Open proxies, bouncers etc are NOT permitted and could result in a
   network wide ban of the offending IP. Private, secure bouncers are
   permitted.

 * Bots are permitted as long as they don't break the above rules.

 * Remaining connected, and/or continuing to connect signals your acceptance
   of these rules/conditions.

 * Ignorance is no excuse. If you've not read the above, it still applies.
